15° Self-lateral Wave Rotation: This mattress has cone-shaped air cells that automatically produce a 15° self-lateral rotation while in Alternating mode to enable regular movement necessary for circulation and increased comfort. Side Bolster： This mattress's ability to create a 5-inch perimeter (including side bolster) around the mattress when alternating and self-lateral-wave rotation are activated, increasing the safety and protection provided by the side bolsters while still allowing caregivers to easily access and care for the patient. Sinking feature of mattress surface by patented cell enhances safety buffer for side bolster. Therapy of Alternating with Low Air Loss up to 15 LPM Minimizes friction and shearing of the skin Sets of audio and visual warning signals if power outage and/or when air pressure is low Fowler/Seating is designed to increase support in the seat/torso section of the mattress. When the head of the bed is raised, the fowler is intended to prevent any potential risk of patients from “bottoming out.” System defaults to “Alternating” mode automatically after Max inflates or 1-hour in Static Mode, User Friendly Control panel.
